Tetanus is a acute central nervos system disease. People get infected tetanus infection when the spores of tetanus bacteria enters the body through the wound. This bacteria is able to produce toxins that affect the central nervous system. The toxins affects the neuromuscular junction resulting in muscle spasm.References:
